La reunión entre los cívicos cruceños y las autoridades gubernamentales celebrada ayer en el Salón Rojo del Palacio Quemado, avanzó favorablemente. Los pedidos por más ítems para salud y educación que provocaron el anuncio del paro cívico en Santa Cruz, tuvieron una respuesta positiva por parte del presidente de la República, Evo Morales, lo que abrió la posibilidad de deponer la medida de presión prevista a partir del jueves en todo el departamento.El presidente del Comité pro Santa Cruz, Germán Antelo, declaró a los medios de comunicación que hay una total predisposición de atender las demandas de la región y evitar el paro cívico decidido el miércoles pasado en la Asamblea de la Cruceñidad.
El dirigente cívico adelantó que una comisión del Gobierno vendrá hoy a Santa Cruz para reunirse, durante dos días, con representantes de la Prefectura y de los municipios para encontrar una solución al pedido de 800 ítems para educación y salud. En el encuentro se pidió especialmente por la consolidación del hospital Francés, que está pronto de ser inaugurado y que requiere 300 ítems para iniciar su funcionamiento.
El Presidente aceptó la demanda de los cruceños y precisó: "Sería el colmo que la ayuda internacional nos construya hospitales y no funcionen porque el Gobierno no les proporciona los profesionales que necesitan".
Por su parte, el presidente del Colegio Médico de Santa Cruz, Víctor Hugo Parada, que participó de la reunión, agradeció la apertura del jefe de Estado y aclaró que en el departamento hay un promedio de 0,6 médicos por cada 3.000 habitantes, siendo que la media en el resto del país es de 1,2 galenos por esa misma cantidad de ciudadanos. Sobre ese aspecto, Morales ofreció la dotación de equipos médicos provenientes de Cuba para el hospital Francés.
No obstante, Parada solicitó que los empleos sean reservado para los bolivianos y puso a consideración del Presidente la posibilidad de restituir el año de provincia para los médicos recién egresados.
Sobre la licitación del proyecto siderúrgico, Evo Morales reafirmó el cumplimiento de los plazos, lo que implica que a finales de mayo se procederá con la adjudicación de la empresa que se hará cargo de la explotación de los minerales."Vamos a cumplir con todos los plazos, no hay paso hacia atrás", indicó Morales.Los plazos señalados por el jefe de Estado establece que el 28 de este mes habrá una reunión técnica con las empresas proponentes en Santa Cruz y el 5 de mayo se presenta el pliego de licitación corregido. El 25 se abren los sobres A y el 27 los sobres B, y el 30 se conoce la o las empresas que se adjudicaron el proyecto.
Las bases de la negociación
Mutún: Para el 28 de mayo está anunciada una reunión con las empresas que aspiran participar de la licitación del proyecto siderúrgico en la provincia Germán Busch. La adjudicación, está prevista para finales del mayo próximo.
Ítems: Una delegación de ministros y viceministros llegará hoy a Santa Cruz para reunirse, a partir de las 9:00 con autoridades de la Prefectura y de diferentes municipios del departamento, a fin de encontrar una solución a la contratación de más personal para salud y educación.
Empleos: A través del programa Propaís, el Gobierno contratará a más de 100 personas que prestaban funciones en la empresa MMX, subsidiaria de la brasileña EBX. Se diseñará un plan para hacer sostenible la generación de empleos.
EBX: El Gobierno ratificó la decisión de que la empresa debe abandonar el país. Los cívicos reiteraron que no defienden a la siderúrgica.
