- ¿Qué se ganó con este paro?- No nos tenemos que perder, la mayor ganancia de hoy es ver a seis departamentos que están luchando por lo mismo en unidad, eso no tiene precio. Un paro histórico de seis regiones demuestra el trabajo que se está haciendo, amén de los desmanes que se vieron en la madrugada, muy lamentables por cierto, y con los cuales el Comité nunca comulgará. No justifica nada que unos cuantos desubicados hagan lo que hicieron anoche, pero eso no puede desmerecer la gran labor realizada. Ver las calles vacías hoy (el día del paro) significa que la gente lleva dentro el sentimiento de reconocer que algo anda mal en el país.
- Luego de la medida de presión, ¿qué nuevas acciones se están preparando?
- Aquí nada es casual. Tal vez muchos nos criticaron que el Comité es muy ‘blando’, pero nosotros hacemos las cosas de manera cerebral y no emocionalmente. Los pasos que vamos a seguir los tomaremos con cautela, no los vamos a publicitar, los vamos a hacer.
- Luego de un paro cívico, ¿qué otra acción de la misma fuerza y magnitud se puede asumir?
- No asumiremos acciones fuera de la ley, pero nosotros hemos hecho paros de 48 horas, cabildos, marchas y huelgas de hambre. No vamos a descartar nada, veremos si es necesario realizar un nuevo referéndum o si vamos a juntar firmas, pero todo depende de cuánto quiera este Gobierno escuchar o cuánto decida no escuchar. Si deciden escuchar y reconocen que hay dos regiones distintas, a las cuales no se les puede aplicar una misma ‘receta’ a dos pueblos diferentes, entonces no habrá necesidad de más medidas.
- Se vienen 48 horas de toma de decisiones, ¿qué se debe esperar?
- En el Congreso no vamos a ver muchas cosas, ya que creo que el juicio a los tribunos acabará en esta semana que ingresa a la Cámara de Senadores. En la Asamblea Constituyente no hay condiciones para poder sesionar, ya que primero se debe arreglar el entuerto que provocó la mentalidad sindical con la cual se aprobó una resolución. Desde el lado de los cívicos asumiremos las acciones que tengamos que tomar, para eso trabajamos.
